Tokyo trip 2012 // Day 4

DAY 4 // Tsukiji Fish Market > Ueno Park >Mt.Fuji (Kawaguchiko)

Woke up at friggin' 4am just to visit Tsukiji Fish Market to have some mega yumz sashimi breakfast. If you're wondering why the heck we have the wake up sooooo early... it's because from what I have researched online, you get to eat the freshest fish if you're early & once it's sold out the vendors will just close their shops. SO YUP! That's why must wake up MEGA early to avoid disappointment!

We took subway train from Shinjuku to Tsukijishijo~

Omg I look so very chubbbby T_T

When we reached the fish market, it was totally EMPTY. So both of us were like "omg are we at the correct place? but looks like leh!" Then we went to ask the security guard and guess what he told us...

"SORRY WE ARE CLOSED, TODAY IS A PUBLIC HOLIDAY. PLEASE COME BACK TOMORROW."

GOT SO SUAY ANOT?!!! SOMEMORE IT'S A WEEKDAY LEH! /STABS-SELF/

Blah. So we decided to visit the place on the very next day -_- tsk~ After that we carried on with the planned routine, the next stop was Ueno Park! YAY!!! GO SEE SOME UBER NICE BEAUTIFUL SAKURA <3

Reached Ueno!

I love to climb stairs, seriously. Haha!

Fallen sakura petals ~

We were there so early, all the shops are still closed :(

Love the vending machines in Japan. LOVE.

It was around 10-11 degrees, pretty awesome to have a hot cocoa <3

My wish came true! (T___T)/ Visiting Japan during Sakura season!
/dies with no regrets/ HAHA OK JOKE.

OMG SO CHIO *___* If only I can plant one. LOLOLOL~

Mats are provided in the park!

Hot pink sakura?! O_O

See the difference between the common sakura tree (very left) & this one!!! DAMN NICE :D

Took a train to Shinjuku station for lunch!

It's really cool when you can eat lunch/snack/drink or even smoke(in smoking room) inside the train station (without exiting the station) before you transit to another train!!! In Singapore, if wanna go toilet also must tap out lor -_-

Sakura Latte + Sandwich (In case I get hungry otw to Mt.Fuji lol)
woahhhhhh!!! i miss the sakura latte ~~~~

And yes!!! Next stop is Mt.Fuji :D

The train ride from Shinjuku to Mt.Fuji was around 2 hours!
Must change like 2-3 trains too~ Abit mafan (=x=)

This is the Fuji Kyuko Train :)

So cute hahaha~

Yep, we're here!!

Hopped onto this paid sight-seeing bus. It brings us around the streets around mt.fuji, lake kawaguchiko and also the best place to view mt.fuji ~

Just . So . Amazing

Stopped around the lake side area, because the view of mt.fuji was magnificent! *__*

Dined at this Japanese restaurant which looked rather... homely. Hahaha ~

Not that hungry, so I just ordered this.

Mommy ordered this mee-hoon-kuay-look-alike dish.

Instead of taking train back (because my mom thinks that it's so very troublesome to change change change trains & somemore must squeeze with people), so she suggested taking the bus straight to Shinjuku. Asked the info counter and the lady said the whole ride would be around 2 hours (excluding jams of course). So hmmm, sounds like a plan.

BUT GUESS WHAAAAAT

The whole trip back to Shinjuku took like 4 HOURS ! !@#$%^!@&#^! Thanks to the friggin' jam. Wah seriously can die, sit until my butt numb. It's like a flight from Singapore to Taipei lor seriously.

Went to an Italian cafe nearby our hotel to have a drink (mad thirsty after the bus ride gosh)

Shared seafood thin crust pizza with mom! IT'S REALLY YUMMMMY :)

Okay, that's the end of day 4! Hahaha sight-seeing day, so no shopping bags
