Kiyomizudera Temple Kyoto

If you want to experience traditional Japanese culture, Kyoto is the place to visit.

I've always been a fan of traditional Japanese architectures hence I was really excited when we were on our way to Kyoto (i've been wanting to visit this place like forever!!!) The train ride takes about  30 minutes if you take from Osaka/Shin Osaka station (via the JR Kyoto line rapid service)

On the train to Kyoto! Okay I don't look that excited BUT I AM K. HAHAHA

Our first stop was to visit the famous Kiyomizudera Temple. From Kyoto Station you can take bus 100 or 206 from the bus interchange and alight at gojo-zaka or kiyomizu-gojo bus stop (aiya just alight when you see majority of the people alight LOL) From there you have to look at the map and find the correct path to walk uphill or try your luck and follow the crowd #okjoke

If you find yourself at this street means yay you're halfway there!
Congratulations and continue walking.

WE MADE IT TO THE TOP and tmd there's still a flight of stairs awaiting us zzzz

You may want to pay a 300yen admission fee to visit the temple. The view you get to see there would be priceless, so please do it! This photo is totally not doing justice to the beautiful trees. Okay maybe my camera photography skill suck #everythingalsoblamecamera

Beautiful flower spotted.

After walking out of the main temple, you'll see a path to the Jishu Shrine. Apparently this shrine is dedicated to the deity of love/match-making, so lovebirds/single friends, you know where to go now huh? ;)

They sell many different charms here! Call me superstitious or what but I seriously think these charms are damn 靈 and I always have them with me HAHA ;D

Oh hi, famous love stone.

Brb praying for good luck.

Well it's a lovely place to visit if you're into temples & shrines.

And this... the mandatory tourist shot of Kiyomizudera!

After walking for almost the entire day, it's time to fill our stomach with foooood. Nothing beats having a bowl of warm authentic udon in this chilly weather :) Simple and yet so good!!!

Had this really yummy soft-serve ice cream on the way back! Omg my favourite black sesame and honey vanilla :'D Sorry but this cone here can easily beat llaollao & honeycreme.

Lastly not forgetting my #ootd.

I honestly think a day trip to Kyoto is not enough :(
