Like I said, every morning I look fresh and by the end of the day I'll look like crap. Actually I wore a different top inside but for the rest of this trip, you'll see me wearing the same pullover outside 'cos I was freezing (fever & sick, I don't have a choice asdfghjkl) Mehhh :<

Wanted to have lunch at Hello Kitty Cafe, but failed to because the place was full (no fate ah no fate~) So we just bought some cute pastries back. See! They too cute to resist right :3

These swissrolls cost like SGD3.80 only asdfghjkl, can I buy everything home?

I suggested another place for our late lunch - "Tokyo Curry". I remembered eating there during my first trip to Taipei and wah their omu curry rice was super delicious! Price was affordable with a generous portion of food :)

Ordered some side dishes like potato salad & fries to share. Not a fan of fries, but I must say this bowl of fries is really tasty :p Hahaha just look at how golden brown it is!

Yay we could see Taipei 101! I've been to Taiwan 3 times but I have not been to 101 before hahaha 'cos all I want to do is shop till I drop (where to time to do sight seeing -_-).

Take a look at our fridge! Our fav duo duo (yakult) and a lot of pastries from Hello Kitty Sweets! 不肥才怪咯～ Now looking at this photo, I really miss drinking the mega huge green tea yakult with aloe vera omgggg can someone fly me to taiwan? (=x=)

Went there with one luggage and came home with 3.

Went down to xmd for breakfast after checking out of the hotel.

// DAY 2 //

Woke up from my bad flu/fever, feeling a lot better (just for the morning part).

1st stop for Day 2 - DAZZLING CAFE (SUNSHINE)

Was on instagram and I happen to see a good friend posting a photo of this super yummy-looking honey toast from Dazzling Cafe. So I was telling the girls "OMFG WE MUST VISIT THIS PLACE K." (featured on ladyironchef's taipei dining guide too!) Hahaha so yes! Here I am ;) 

Dazzling Cafe got quite a few branches, we went to the Sunshine Mitsukoshi branch at 台北信義新光三越A11! The nearest MRT station is at Taipei City Hall :) You will be expecting a looong queue if you're going there during lunch/dinner hours (especially weekends). We went on a weekday and still there was a long queue :/ At first the lady told us we need to join the waiting list, but after a min she said there's a table available for us so yay! *skips long queue* 

The waitresses there look so kawaii in their meido-looking costumes! ^^

*flips & looks at dessert first, then main course* Pretty decent price for their famous Honey Toast! (About SGD9-12?) Quite affordable right! Tell me where to find in Singapore... >__>

My main course - Mentaiko Pasta. 

My honest opinion on this dish? THE BEST MENTAIKO PASTA I'VE TRIED SO FAR (*___*) Yes imma super big fan of mentaiko pasta, have tried quite a few in Singapore which tastes nice/not bad. But still not as AMAZING as this dish here! /drooools/

Really good service there at Taiwan :)

The honey toast was super damn awesome as well. I'm so gonna visit this place again for my next Taipei trip!!!! Shall bring M there, bet he will love it as much as I do :D

2nd stop - Taipei East Metro Underground Mall

This is underground mall is located between 忠孝復興 & 忠孝敦化 MRT Station. It's like our Dhoby Ghaut/Orchard Xchange, just that it's from one station to another. Like you start from MRT station A, shop shop shop & you'll end at MRT station B, damn awesome can (yeah you can imagine how long it takes to shop through these whole entire stretch of shops, like never ending one lor). The things there are quite cheap! So many things, especially super cheap shoes & accessories!!! Best place to buy souvenirs back for family & friends :) 

Their QB house looks damn atas wtf. Hahaha

And after walking & shopping for an hour or so, we reached my favourite 忠孝敦化 MRT Station (YA MY STAYREAL PARADISE HAHA) and I was half-dead by then running a fever *ugh*. Wanted to drop by Stayreal Cafe for a cup of coffee but sadly it was fully packed probably because of the cold rainy weather :((((

Yes, this time round I managed to find the cafe without fail :P

Was shivering like mad, hence I bought a nice pullover from Stayreal! I think I were to dress up like this with my mask on in Singapore, people would siam far far away from me or think that I have some kind of deadly/contagious disease -__-

3rd stop - Shilin Night Market

The 2 poor girls have to accompany me back to the hotel early & buy dinner for me :( I think I was too sick to even walk (~__~;) Totally had no appetite, so I just told them to get my favourite sandwich (NT35 = SGD1.40 = WTFYSOCHEAP). Ate and dropped dead on the bed (x_x)

Okay after very very long, I finally decided to write up this blog post. Sorry for the 2 months delay *get shots* (>_<) But at least I'm making an effort to write now k!!! Hahaha

It was a short 4D3N Taipei trip with my lovely bffs <3 But the very suay me got sick on the first day and throughout the whole trip :( Thank god I had these two girls here to take care of me~ *love you both!!!*

// DAY 1//

We took a midnight flight from SG to Taipei via Scoot, that explains why we look so friggin' shag on the plane. YEPPP all prepared to sleep!!! (Pardon for my super extremely cui face -_-)

... after 4 (or 5 hours) we finally reached Taoyuan International Airport!

Bought the 國光 bus ticket from the airport to Taipei Main Station. The whole journey takes about an hour or so, depending how smooth the traffic is. Usually the road to Taipei is alright, but the trip back to airport would be a bitch.

This made my life so much easier.

Alighted at Taipei Main Station and took an MRT to our hotel at 西門町.

A very empty 西門町 early in the morning (like 10ish?) We were so early, we can't even check-in. Hence we just placed our luggages at the hotel and started wandering around xmd.

The best place to have breakfast?

I'd vote for my favourite 阿宗麵線！！！

HOLYSHEEET~ It's so very delicious! This bowl only cost me NT45 which is about SGD1.80? You just need to top up abit more for the bigger bowl which cost NT60. Cheap or what?! \(*_*)/

After having our breakfast, more shops were opened by then. Hence it's time to SHOP!!! The first stop was my favourite beauty/lifestyle shop in Xi Men Ding (a MUST-GO shop for me every time I visit Taipei). I went there with Soomin last year and we shopped like mad for hours. This 3-storey department store is located along the road near xmd (just beside Wonstar Hotel-Ximen).

They have everything, REALLY EVERYTHING.

Paradise.

And so after shopping around xmd for hours, we finally checked into our hotel at ECFA Hotel (Wan Nian). It is located inside the shopping district of Xi Men Ding itself, super affordable and the best thing is that they provide rooms for 3! *yay* If you are on a budget trip, this would be a good/decent place to stay :)

Okay now we look sooooo much more presentable after washing up and with our make-up on (>_<) Yep! I'm wearing my favourite rings from Sacred Hearts X :D 

I wore the same outfit because I only brought 2 sets of tops for this whole trip. 'Cos I'm expecting myself to buy alot more back. Hahaha! Go there 6kg, return home 23894729kg.

AHA! Yes all of us bought the same camera :p 

Casio TR150 - BEST CAMWHORE CAMERA!!!

This was my 3rd trip to Taipei and it was my first time going to Wu Fen Pu (五分埔). 'Cos all along, I thought that stores there only sell clothes to wholesellers =_= /fails/

Anyway, the clothes there isn't my kinda thing. I can't seem to find anything I liked, except for 1 top (which I'm intending to sell now, it's still new LOL) I personally think that Shilin night market clothes are alot more fashionable and a better place to shop! :)

After a long day at Wu Fen Pu, we decided to return back to Xi Men Ding for dinner. HOT STAR, CHEESE POTATO, KOREAN RICE CAKES & BBQ QUAIL EGGS... So much food for all 3 of us hahaha~ The cheese potato was the BEST, MEGA LOVE IT PLZ <3
